This job is filled with PROMISES AND LIES!!! They make you believe that you will have so many incentives and that the training will go by so smoothly. WRONG. They don’t even train you right, the trainers are as lost as everyone else in the company. And to top it off, THEY MAKE YOU BELIEVE that you don’t have to sell in order to keep your job, WRONG AGAIN. Once you’re in, they throw you with the dogs without proper training, and if you don’t make a sell, they WILL FIRE YOU. Even though that isn’t even in the contract. This is by far the WORST company I’ve ever worked for. LIES LIES LIES!!!!! If I could rate it zero stars, I would!!

Bloom Insurance is a fantastic organization that places a high importance on work-life balance. Working from home has allowed me to spend more time with my family while still flourishing in my job.

My spouse went through all of the training and licensing, picked up his computer and set up his office at home just to be told he was terminated for no call/no show. He was waiting for verification to start for over a week and asked his supervisor to contact him when it was ready. When it WAS ready, they failed to notify my spouse and after two days, they fired him WITHOUT letting him know. I came in for orientation and during a 5 minute break, someome from HR accused me and my husband of trying to obtain “free licensing” through them and claimed she had been trying to get in contact with my husband when she hadn’t. (If he’d been trying to get a free license, he probably wouldn’t have bothered picking up his computer and calling every day to see if he could start, eh?) You would think someone from HR would know better than to be passive aggressive and create conflict as well as disclose personal information about one employee to another! Regardless of our martial status, when I entered that building, I entered as a separate employee.
The following Monday my husband called to figure out what on earth had happened and learned that they had received the verification required but chose not to notify him? They say they aren’t in the business of hiring and firing but it took me one shift to see that was clearly incorrect and destroy any excitement I had about this job. The way Tami handled approaching me/my husband’s issue was horrific and really speaks volumes about the type of company Bloom is.

The managers in this place claim to want to help their staff, but micromanage them like kindergarteners, don’t care about the pandemic (saw so many people without masks with no repercussions), and are unwilling to work with people with families. Your kid is sick and you have to call out to take care of them? Well, you are now marked down for missing work, and if you get enough, they fire you, regardless of the reason why you missed work.
I have seen managers drive employees to tears over mundane issues, like missing a day due to a family emergency that was outside of the employee’s control.
They also change their standards by the minute, but do not properly inform their staff, leaving them to flounder and struggle, and thus they c an then fire them for ‘low performance’.
Do not work at this company.

I’m at home agent for AZ branch, and I honestly think this is one of the best place I’ve ever worked for! They really try to work with their employees and be fair. Good size bonuses too, they actually paid them out! People are friendly, great HR, highly recommend! As long as you do your job and come to work then you shouldn’t have any problems.
