After getting the runaround with me existing auto insurer I decided I needed to look elsewhere. I had read on the internet that my RV insurance may not be entirely straight forward and that perhaps State Farm could assist.

I blind called Jay’s office and was received by Zach. After pretty quickly being able to confirm that my situation wasn’t near as challenging as my now previous insurer implied I proceeded with gaining a quote with Zach who did so collecting all my information over the phone followed by immediately sending the quotes via email. We then spent a good 30-45 minutes on the phone reviewing and adjusting the quote/policy based on all my questions.

Rates may or may not be the lowest but are very competitive with my previous insurer. Service was outstanding, got all my questions answered and I was treated with respect. At this point, all positive and will bundling auto/rv/home under them going forward.

Update to original review (see below): I emailed another agent at a different State Farm trying to transfer agents, and Zach called me this morning (the morning after my review and email) to address my concerns and continue with my policy. Zach was very nice and didn’t take it personally that I was unhappy with his service. He explained to me why I received the letter from State Farm about the application and that he expected that to happen (though he really should have warned me I would receive such letter). He said he received that same letter today. He emailed me the new binder of insurance, updated my payment information, sent a disclosure I needed to sign, and got me setup on the StateFarm website (finally). I’m still only giving 3/5 stars because my frustrations and worry could have been avoided by some simple communication on their part, and I probably would not have been contacted had I not emailed the other agent and written this review.

Original Review (1/5 stars): Do not waste your time with Zach at State Farm.
I recently tried to insure my motorhome with Zach Stevenor. I had to contact Zach several times to get a response. On Feb 5 I inquired about it and by Feb 7 I replied, saying we wanted to go ahead with Zach at State Farm. On February 11 I still had not heard back from him so I emailed him again. On February 14 he told us it was insured and said he emailed us a binder of insurance (which he couldn’t figure out how to send, so he had to fax it). He assured us several times it was insured, but could not give us a copy of the policy. He said we should get a policy “any day now.” On March 16 I emailed him AGAIN asking him for the policy. He said we should be receiving it any time. Today, April 1, I finally received something from State Farm and opened it, and found that our policy is being cancelled (we never received a copy of our policy) because Zach submitted it under an automobile insurance, not a NECHO Application. I will be contacting him to let him know my frustrations, but I would strongly advise against Zach at State Farm on State Street.
