If I could give 0 stars I would have. The people that work there are unprofessional. Carrie, the lady that closed for us lied multiple times to us. Then after multiple phone calls, voicemails I got ahold of her. She just kept spinning me around. I got ahold of the recorders office and they had no response from the title company. After many more phone calls with no call back, I got ahold of Carrie and she lied some more. Then sent the “package” a week later. I was trying to pull permits for the house I bought and it was impossible. She blamed the recorder when that office was extremely helpful. Carrie is a liar. Don’t do business with them.

I am very disappointed by my recent experience of closing on a home with Metropolitan in Edison Lakes Mishawaka. I am a seasoned home investor and typically my transactions go smoothly at a title company. However after signing papers during my scheduled closing time I walked away with no documentation, no expected reimbursement checks and no satisfaction of just “buying” a new investment property. I appreciate when a title company pays attention to the details and treats the home buyer as a valued client. Instead I was informed that this title company does not need to keep the buyer informed, but must rely on the real estate agent to get that information. How is the realtor now a priority over the paying client? I have the understanding that as a buyer I am paying the processing fees, the title work and can choose what company I would like to close with. Given my last two experiences with Metropolitan in the last year, I would strongly recommend using a different Title company. Best, Mike Pingel

Fastest house closing ever! Scott was amazing! The whole environment was very welcoming and friendly! There were smiles on everyone’s faces! The receptionist was super nice and helpful! Will definitely be using them again when we buy another home or sell this home.

Lauren H. Is on top with every file she handles. She answers calls and emails in a timely fashion. When it come to closings, Julie M. is epic. Always charming and clear to the dot line by line to sellers and buyers.
During Covid-19 tense moments, you took all the necessary trials to stay closer to your clients by allowing them to enter your offices with precautionary measures while others dumped us in the parking lots in our cars.
For the snacks and coffee station, that’s the best in the area as you have all variety choices for the clients to enjoy. Keep it up Metro👍🏾
