My wife and I have been working with Storm for around three years and he is great! We moved from Iowa to Minnesota about two years ago and stayed connected and worked with Storm and this company through the move. We recently reached out again as we were looking for a Homeowners insurance bundle. Storm and the company are professional, personable, and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend for sure!!

I had been with Absolute Insurance for a decade based on the recommendation of a friend, and hardly had any issues. On 6/25 I received notice that Secura was not renewing policies and Absolute Insurance needed additional information to get us a new quote, which we sent the same day.

A week later I called to follow up on the status of the new quote and I was told by some agent that they had a lot of people to get new insurance for so it would take a while. This is, I guess, when I found out I didn’t get to work with Jeff anymore and I had just been handed off to another person with a Eastvold last name.

Because my insurance was up in August, and our mortgage was sold and the new mortgage company was asking for our insurance information, I followed up again. I was told that the agent was actively working on it and they would have it to me by Friday (7/12) of that week. This was roughly 4 weeks ago.

I did not hear anything back and still had no new quote so I called and left a message with Jeff Eastvold detailing the issues I was having, and my frustration with the poor service. I never heard anything back from him even though I had been working with him for almost a decade.

I called them back again last week and I was told I would have my new quote by Friday (8/2) or Monday (8/5). As of August 6th I had heard nothing and have decided I will not work with Absolute Insurance every again, and I cannot recommend them to anyone. They are very unprofessional in the timelines they quote being missed, and they are unresponsive to the point that I had to reach out to them several times to find out what was going on.

I reached out to another insurance agency, and they informed me they were going through the same thing with Secura, but they had me a new quote in under a week. In fact, they told me they would have me a quote by Friday and they called me that Friday to give me an update that there was a delay. That was the kind of customer service you used to get at Absolute Insurance.

My parents have used Absolute Insurance Agency for years. They have always worked with Jeff for everything (car insurance, homeowners, business insurance and life insurance) and since I have been out on my own, I have used Jeff’s son Storm for both my car insurance and renter’s insurance. Both Jeff and Storm are incredible to work with. They are both very responsive, helpful and personable. I will never switch agencies because I truly feel that I have a great relationship with my agent. I highly recommend Absolute Insurance Agency if you want a personal and easy experience.
