This company is a scam/fraud company. Please do not do business with them. They sell fake products and run tour credit card whenever they want. I have called them repeatedly demanding refunds for money I did not agree to spend. They ran my card for the usually payment on July 19th for the fake insurance I didn’t know I had and then when I called in to cancel they immediately ran my card for $600. They will not issue a refund. If I call the customer service number they answer and hang up. Anyone who did speak with me lied and said they will not cancel service because they do not have to and laughed about the refund. The manager said “it’s not my fault you bought fake insurance” Um it is your fault since you mange these monkeys selling fake products. I contacted AWIS directly and they have been nothing but rude and will not issue and refund. I have reported them for scam and fraud to the FBI, BBB, FTC, ABC news and also to my attorney who will be issuing subpoenas here very soon. I will get my money back one way or another. This is not insurance at all this is simply a preventative plan. I feel totally scammed! I told the agent I spoke to you exactly what my needs were he assured me he was this was the best policy for me. So after spending tons with AWIS and now owing thousands in medical bills I realized I’ve been lied to and have to start back at square one! Horrible company I should have done some research!!

I bought an insurance policy in December specifically because I needed maternity coverage and for my diabetes. I was assured it had maternity coverage and was told I would receive a welcome packet and cards in the mail. Never received either. When my policy took effect, I went to the doctor to discover that I didn’t have maternity coverage! I would of never purchased it otherwise. So I call to cancel it, and was told I would receive an email within 48-72 hours with instructions and someone would call me. Never happened. I called multiple times for 2 weeks and each time was told something different! Its processing, the form is missing info, you’ll be contacted, etc. I also asked for a refund and was denied bc it had been past the window you have to review your coverage and make that decision. Which I never received a packet to look through. And why would I need to when I was told verbally I had maternity coverage. And the guy that sold me the policy never answers his extension. William. I have left him multiple messages and nothing. I finally spoke to Rocky, a supervisor, and he assured me I had maternity coverage and that due to a 30 day waiting period it just hadn’t started and would on Feb. 1. Well my dr office called today, and of course, no coverage. It’s only preventative and wellness. So instead of letting me cancel, I was lied to again and promised by Rocky that I did have the coverage and was charged another month, 520.00, for something I can’t use! I’m 35, in a high risk pregnancy, dr appts every 2 weeks and am out 1200.00 for a policy I cant even use! Plus paying out of pocket for my appts! And no one cares to help me! This place is a joke.. I cant believe they are okay with treating a pregnant woman this way!! And I’ve still never received my insurance card or a packet! Now my husband and I are going to have to pay for a lawyer to try to get this resolved.

Its a good indication of trouble when health insurance agencies change or even worse remove prior google map profiles and with that AWIS loses the many unsatisfied customer reviews of your shamelessly huckstered limited benefits, association-based garbage insurance. This will not make your problems go away. This Rabie family scam is still hiding behind a PO box in the strip mall.
Dissatisfaction with AWIS products is largely guaranteed. Refunds !!! Refunds!!! Refunds!!! cry the angry mob that bought the AWIS garbage.

My name is Mariya Yagenich. Got swindled by Awis. Me and husband started looking for coverage when I became pregnant, and was only reason for looking for coverage. Rep told me I would be all covered for pregnancy… I was not. 6 months later, I get billed from hospital, have not even had my baby yet..call AWIS, they say I’m not covered for pregnancy. Obviously fraud on service representation offered to provide. Filed claim today and want full refund on all months paid. Will take further action if needed and no refund is issued.
