After I sold my house, and asked Amy to cancel my homeowner’s insurance policy, Allstate continued billing me. Amy’s response? “Not my problem.” She has not informed me whether the premiums I overpaid for insurance coverage on a house I no longer own have been refunded, despite numerous inquiries. I have been asking her about this for over a month.
Please note that some of the positive Google reviews of this insurance agent are written by her staff. Although Allstate has decent rates, I do not recommend working with her. You will regret it. Because of my experience with Amy Gatherum, I would think twice before ever purchasing insurance from Allstate again.
Sharon has been an absolute delight to work with! After being trapped in an expensive relationship with another insurer for over 25 years I randomly Google’d “best insurance companies near me”. I called the first one…Sharon is the agent that walked me through quotes on 3 vehicles, 4 drivers, a camper, 2 ATV’s, our home and a rental! She did her research and although we’d talk about 5 times a day to get everything taken care of she always had a smile in her voice! I’m so glad to have made the call and worked with Sharon! If you’re looking for a new insurance agent Sharon with Allstate is highly qualified and very helpful 👍
Oh… and that other company that cost us over $1k a month, when I called to break up I said. “Don’t worry, we’ll be in GOOD HANDS!” 👌 🤝🤭
