The Auto-Owners adjuster, Kristopher Miller was recently in my home to view the water damage reported in my insurance claim. My experience in working with Kris was extremely positive in every aspect of our interaction. He was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and professional. I am pleased to offer my highest praise for Kris and the manner in which my claim was handled. I’m also grateful for Auto Owners Insurance Company for making this a seamless and stressless experience.

If I could leave a negative -5 star review for this company I would.
I Filed a claim back in the 1st week of November 2023 with Auto-Owners Insurance and i received nothing but the run around from day 1. Auto-Owners wants you to do all of the work for them. They will lie, deny and do anything to make the claim process drag on for months and months. It’s pretty sad when one of their customers totals out our truck (I have the police report that states we were not at fault and the Auto owners insured driver was cited for causing the wreck) and I have to jump through all kinds of hoops just to get the run around. We are out a truck and never had a rental or received a dime in compensation.
Unfortunately for Auto-Owners this is not over and I will take this to court.
Don’t just take my word for it check out the other reviews that unsatisfied customers/victims have left for Auto-Owners insurance and choose your insurance company wisely.

If I could leave “0” stars I would. I was terrified to start a claim after a storm damaged my property but with the damage we incurred I figured, “this is why I have insurance”. In the beginning I was reassured that everything would be ok and and I would be taken care of. The woman assigned to me said she she would “get creative” if need be to make sure I got new siding all the way around as I stress to her that I was nervous they would try to piece my house back together leaving it blotchy and not uniform in color. I felt great after speaking with her. Now I am struggling with trying to get ahold of anyone that cares about their clients needs. Auto owners wants to piece my house together with mismatched siding. My homes value, curb appeal and overall condition is going to go down. There are several people in my neighborhood that have gotten new siding installed all the way around their homes when they sustained the same damage, if not less in some instances. Auto owners is telling me that this replacement color is “reasonable”. Myself amongst everyone else I have consulted with, disagree with what they consider “reasonable” I have left voicemails and emails and they all fell on deaf ears. My agent agrees with me and also has tried to get ahold of someone at auto owners and left voicemails along with emails. Again, they fell on deaf ears. If you are looking for an insurance company that cares, I’d highly suggest someone else. My neighbor has Allstate and they are spoken about as one of the worst when it comes to property damage claims. Guess who has new siding and guess who doesn’t? I have always spoken highly of auto owners as they have a stellar name in the insurance industry. I have referred countless people to them. It’s all fine until you actually need the service you pay for thousands of dollars for, year after year. How would you feel if you had 2 new pieces of siding on every side of your house that was this different in color? It’s actually worse in person. Photos don’t do it justice and the difference in color with the photos is extreme.

We had a recent fire that destroyed our garage, outbuilding, and wood boiler. Auto Owners Insurance wasted no time in responding to my claim and assigned a claims representative. I was fortunate to have Agent Kristopher Miller assigned who walked me through the process and paperwork. He made a difficult time in my life easier and I am grateful to him and Auto Owners for their loyalty to me and my claim!!!! I will always us Auto Owners as my insurance company.
