They were great until last year. My past agent was Austin. I have no idea what happened with him, but he was wonderful. However, this year I made a payment to renew my home insurance. But after 20 days, I received a letter from my Insurance Company stating they were canceling my policy. I contacted my insurance company and found out they were canceling my home insurance because Bold City Insurance did NOT submit a specific form they were supposed to. The Insurance Company stated they emailed them multiple times, but unfortunately, there was nothing I could do, and they were giving an extra 10 days for them to submit the docs they were supposed to. I contacted Bold City, and Olivia, my new agent, told me she was uploading the documents right away. She apologized and so on. I trusted them again, despite being extremely upset, but I gave them another shot. (I’m making the story short, but there were multiple emails and phone calls with Bold City). After 10 days, I got a letter and a check back from my Insurance Company, my policy was canceled. Contacted Bold City again, and they apologized, but apparently the documents they uploaded, did not go through. What???? So, I had to pay for new inspections and get new quotes. I sent the inspection reports to Bold City for them to help me to get a new insurance and NOTHING. They left me in limbo, as soon as I emailed them the reports and restated that this was not my fault, and they should help me with a better quote or some type of discount. I did trust them. So I had to find a better place with responsible agents and a 2k less insurance policy. And I did! Thank you for your lack of responsibility.

I was looking for a new home insurance vendor and Shawn Moss was recommended to me. I contacted him and was very impressed with Shawn. He is very knowledgeable and made the process painless and within a short time, I was given a price quote which was much more competitive than what I have been paying. I would definitely recommend Shawn Moss for all your insurance needs. How refreshing to find an insurance broker that is fair and honest and really wants to help people find a good deal!

Unfortunately I felt like they were being just lazy on their part. I needed a quote quickly because I was closing on a house and didn’t do due diligence getting multiple quotes form multiple agents. I was hoping I could trust them. I got a home owners policy through Bold City for 3k and went with it.

6 months later my life settled down and I shopped around a bit and got a new policy for less than $1500. I also realized I was way over insured with the policy they recommended and was paying for more than I needed.

Communication with them hasn’t been great. Even canceling my policy has taken weeks. Kinda wild.

Steven Holland has been wonderful in helping me with multiple insurance needs in the past several months. He searches for the best policy to meet my needs and be affordable. He is very dependable to reply back promptly when you leave a message, whether it be via text or email.

Austin was Absolutely Amazing! Took all my calls, answered all my questions and did it all with 100% kindness and understanding because I was in one heck of a hot mess! It has become so difficult to find someone with integrity, professionalism and affordable, but this is definitely the place. Thank you!
