In January of 2024 I was assisting my sister, a customer of Allstate, Chris Heisler’s office for well over 20+ years, sell her car. I contacted this office, on three different occasions, and explained that the car had been sold and to cancel the insurance. They indicated they needed something from the tag agency to show the car was sold. I explained to them that when the car was transferred to the buyer, the tag agency did not require the tag to be turned in nor did I get a receipt showing the transfer on the title. Upon the last call to this office, indicating I had nothing that I could give them, they indicated the policy would be cancelled due to non-payment; which was fine. However, no one from this office indicated that non-payment meant that they would be reporting any amount owed, which there was none as of January, would get reported to a collection agency. After speaking with someone from the office today, July 8, 2024, she indicated that there was nothing they could do to have this reversed as this is “office rules”. How sad that the “office rules” take priority over customer satisfaction! I would highly recommend staying away from such a business that puts their “bottom line” over customer care and satisfaction!

I would give a 0 if I could. When asking for a simple document to show proof that I was a listed driver, they were completely unhelpful and passed me along to a corporate office. The policy wasn’t even active anymore. Rude, unprofessional, and insensitive!

I have been with this agency for 20 plus years and I have had the unfortunate experience of dealing with the rudeness of their service reps first hand. Today was really what made me decide to leave them after speaking with a extremely extremely rude Lady by the name of Alley. I won’t go into details but this agency just isn’t where it’s at. I’ve stayed with them for so long because I’ve never had to deal with them, but the times that I have had an encounter with them have all been unpleasant.
