I stayed with this company for 2 years and the whole time the agents lied to me about how the policy and company worked every time I wld add a aecond vehicle to my policy they charged me more than what was quoted to me. And when I added a second vehicle recently I was sent a bill for 600 dollars, so I found another insurance company and cancelled with Columbia. They still overdrafted my account stating I still owed money. When you cancel something it’s done with it’s not my fault your agents and customer service reps can’t communicate properly and efficiently. I would and will not recommend y’all’s company to anyone ever

Had one of their insured hit me 10 days ago while I was sitting in a turn lane. I have left 3 calls with the agent and two calls with the main insurance company and have yet to hear from an adjuster. I have reached out to the insurance commission of Missouri, and my lawyer in saint Louis Dubail Judge. My agent says we should have pretty much an open and shut case after reviewing the pictures of my Lane position and theirs. Guess we’ll see where this goes I’m sure not getting much help from Colombia seemingly.

Very poor customer service!
I had file for benefits today because of not being able to go to work because of Covid, so I called Columbia ins. and asked if I could stop my auto pay for just one month since I won’t get my 1st unemployment check 3 days after my insurance is due, and was told that if I did this then my monthly premium would go up $50 a month for the remainder of my policy.
I do not recommend anyone use Columbia ins!

Would not recommend. Poor customer service. Canceled my auto insurance because their system hadn’t tracked my over the phone payments correctly. Even though payments were made monthly, no call from supervisor as promised. Do not recommend at all.

Horrible insurance company!! One of their clients backed into my parked car on our road. Called in and filed the claim. It took two weeks to get payment after I had my estimate done. Then, as a result of their client hitting my car in the rear, my car started having a slight shake while driving. I told them about it from the start, and they told me to tell the repair shop. Well, the repair shop called and told them it needed an alignment ment in the rear. They denied it. They only covered the body work repairs and not everything. Then, they rented me a car to drive while mine got fixed. I returned the rental a day after they wanted it back, because no one told me it was due back a certain day, and now they wont cover that extra day or rental car. Absolutely horrible insurance company full of scammers and fakes. Take your business elsewhere!!!
