State Farm has been great to me for many years, but unfortunately Doug Helders branch has provided one of the worst experiences I have received. I recently moved back from Colorado, and we are now going on over 2 months since contact to receive simple car insurance. Sue at the front desk continues to deliver poor service, to the point where my Colorado agency has stepped it to be my main point of contact throughout this whole mess. To make it even worse, they screwed up my multi line discount that I had on my homeowners insurance, billing my Mortgage company an additional $400 payment, messing up my monthly mortgage payment. Instead of apologizing for any errors, this office chalks it up to computer issues outside of their control. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this branch at all costs. There are many other State Farm agencies around that will treat you better.

Was not helpful with getting an insurance quote. The lady on the phone was exceptionally rude, and hung up on me. She did not seem to know anything about the Michigan Auto Insurance Reform law which took effect last summer. Ended up getting much better help with another agent’s office who were able to answer all of the questions that I had.
