In response to Eric’s comment below.. Your team did nothing to help remedy this situation. Desmond on his own free will, promised to take care of the situation. Let’s face it, he dropped the ball. Not only did he leave me hanging, but then he couldn’t get my policy information right, which was literally being copied. The only time I have heard back from your office is when I posted this review, over two weeks after I was suppose to hear back. Desmond promised on that call that I would be hearing from you, Eric, to discuss the situation at hand. Again, another failed promise from him. I then initiated switching my agent. THAT WAS NOT HELP FROM YOU OR ANYONE AT YOUR OFFICE. In fact, while trying to switch agents I called your office again and was literally hung up on by one of your staff! After waiting several hours for a response I called again and spoke with a gentleman who said, “oh yeah, that’s not a problem” and had it taken care of in two minutes.

To say you did everything you could to remedy this situation, or that you helped to get me a new agent is an absolute lie. The only reason why your office had any involvement with my agent switch, is because that is Allstates policy. To actually give your office the chance to make it right, but in turn, your staff has just added to the nonsense of this whole situation.

I have left my original review below.. I am now reducing it after finding Desmond was unable to properly switch my coverage from my old state to Idaho. I am recieveing letters threatening imposed insurance by my bank because he could not properly transfer the lien holder. This process that should have taken an hour, now has me invested over 6. What a joke…

Highly disappointed with the service from Desmond. He assured me up and down that I would have coverage for my new vehicle before I head across country with it. Three days later and not a word from him, and no coverage on my vehicle. He was able to switch my existing coverages for other vehicles I own during our conversation and seemed kind and knowledgeable.

Eric Jeglums office is great to deal with, very friendly and professional, but as far as dealing with a claim, Allstate is absolutely horrible, I have been getting the run around for months on a claim for my travel trailer, the initial claim was back in April, Allstate didn’t have an RV adjuster so I was forced to schedule with a local RV company which is reasonably difficult in the spring when people are trying to go camping, so that took a while to get in and cost money, then once the estimate was done and submitted more games started, I’m not sure what’s going on but I’m pretty sure they have switched adjusters on me several times and I have been told 3 to 5 more days for my claim to be processed several times, then when I call I get told to call someone else and if that doesn’t work to call back to the local office, this has all led to my camper being at bishes rv for several months and ultimately being out of commission since April! It is now almost October, so I have been making payments on insurance and the camper for 7 months almost and it is unusable. I got an email from the adjuster a week ago asking what the make and model of my camper was!! 7 months in and Allstate doesn’t even know what they are insuring or what the make and model of my camper is when every document they have including the estimate has this info on it! This is a complete joke.

Updated: 9/24 I was emailed and told 48 to 72 hours and I’d have answers, here we are a week later on 10/1 and I have no answers still and can’t seem to get a return call from the guy in claims. The local office is following up on this, and again doesnt seem to be the problem, it’s Allstate themselves.

This company is the best we have had! I always receive an almost instant response to emails. We recently purchased a new vehicle and Michaela Morehouse was able to make changes to our policy and send documents with 5 minutes making our new purchase a breeze! I feel like I am her only client because the response time is amazing!! Thank you so much! High Recommend for both home and auto.
