They sent us preview closing documents a few days before the closing. But they transposed a number on our loan payoff amount, which made all the calculations wrong.

Their mistake meant we got a disbursement on closing day that was $3k less than we expected.

I expect no mistakes on a transaction of this size and importance. How could they not have double checked their figures before sending out the preview documents?

Totally inexcusable and unprofessional.
