I have recently completed my 25 years at Gtl. The company really goes all out for its employees. The people I have worked with over the years have been very nice to work with.

I took out a policy with GTL on 01/23/2023.
I have never received a policy in the mail.
I had a $500.00 claim where I see it is being processed. My agent told me it would be about 20 days to receive my money usually 10days. From what I see when I log in to my account it is being processed but it also states ” no provider” ….not true. I faxed everything they needed including the receipt in which I paid my co pay for surgery.
From the reviews I see here…..I probably will not be getting my money so it leaves me to question should I stop making the payments and cancel this ins.?????????????
4/6 is when they received my claim form so it’s going on a month now and no reimbursement.
To cancel or not to cancel???????
All the neg.statements about receiving money back owed to customer SCARES ME! I will probably not get my money owed to me.
HORRIBLE REVIEWS.

I contacted GTL with questions about a policy. I spoke to John Purdy in Customer Service, and I just want to commend him for outstanding customer service. It is difficult to find employees who actually enjoy their job, and he was so understanding, courteous and helpful. I just want GTL to know they have a valued employee and he should be recognized for outstanding service.

I am about to start month #4 regarding the ambulance and hospital indemnity claims for my deceased mother’s policy. Took me 2 months of excuses and calls to finally have someone tell me the death certificate was “ineligible” instead of illegible. I emailed a new one with a request of a return email on if the new attachment was better. I got an email back that didn’t even coincide with the email i sent regarding the death cert. I told them to reread the email. I have called back repeatedly for updates which I’m told “we’re waiting.more info” I have had reps tell me we’ll call back and leave a message since I cannot answer my phone at work. I have yet to have a call returned. I’ve asked to be transferred to claims or a supervisor and am told you don’t do it that way. I would like a response and a resolution to this. I was originally told claims usually take a month. That was 10/29/2022. I have also been requested to send the indemnity claim and hipaa forms more than once. .
