I have read some reviews on Hanover insurance good and bad here is mine. We purchased the bundle (house and auto) from our insurance broker( great by the way) shortly after we get a postcard from Hanover saying they are sending an inspector to take photos of inside my home and outside. My wife and I are 66 years old sending a stranger in this day and age to take photos of inside my home is not safe for my wife or myself. I get a phone call from the inspector to set up an appointment (more details on the inspector coming) I tell the guy no stranger will be photoing in side my home. Call my broker tell her she said she would see if she can take the photos. Not how they do things and they just want pictures of the fire place. We talked and she would come and make sure that was all they would be photoing. And it would be a good idea to have it inspected . So I call the inspector back and tell him we talked and it would be a good idea to have my fireplace inspected. So the inspector is coming out of kentucky I live in indiana so I asked him if he is certified in indiana to inspect fireplaces. He is not certified for anything (he is a guy with a cell phone and can share pictures with the world how safe is that). He set up a day and time then never showed. So we get a cancellation notice. They set a time and date when my coverage ends. It’s our fault because we refused the first inspection. We did have a lady come take pictures with a firm and take pictures then Hanover wanted more pictures and more questions it was the worst and still got a final notice.

The insurance adjuster would not let my husband nor Geico agent speak. Instead he spoke over them like a child with bad mannerism. Unprofessional!! Also, even with a Police report eyewitness and dashcam showing that the other party lost control of their vehicle…. Hanover is saying they want to do a 50% 50% at fault being that they can’t tell whose at fault. Hmmm let’s see our car was hit, our car was badly damaged and had to be towed… The other driver drove away with a written warning from the police. So now we have to hire a lawyer. You hit someone’s vehicle, because you’re a bad driver who lost control. Just be a decent human being and own up to your fault. Also, how can Hanover overlook all the evidence. Ohhh one last thing… Instead of basing everything on the police report… Dash cam video…. Your basing it on he said she said? What we all said is on the police report… She then try to retract her statement said she was in shock… Ahhh we were in shock to. The police report states she’s at fault so fix our vehicle!!!

I admire the staff that cleans this huge place, my God, how difficult, how strong 🙈🙈🙈🙈
