I highly suggest that the owner of kemper life insurance to respond to this Asap or we’re going to court in regards to how many families you have deceived and didn’t pay them what they were entitled to. My grandma have had insurance with you guys for 40 years, and you left her family with 5,000 dollars????? Please reach back out to me or I will be consulting my family lawyer AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Please and thank you.

I was t-boned by a Kemper/Infinity driver. He was at fault per police report/Kemper adjuster and my insurance Allstate. It took 7 days to get an adjuster to come out with an appraisal. Kemper said they sent a check to my body shop/ sent me a text. Check never arrived. Called every day for 7 days straight – left messages/ emails/ Kemper never responded. I filed a complaint with the BBB of Texas and TDI consumer complaints. Kemper corporate offices lied in bad faith that they sent a check and that my body shop cashed it and i picked up my car. All this was a lie. I have never been disrespected after this accident being of negligence by a Kemper driver. I was seriously injured neck. lower back, sprained left shoulder ac joint / head injury later diagnosed as a concussion. Medical bills over $45,000 in first 7 days. Kemper insulted me by offering me $200 to settle. After a month – they promised to send another property damage check via Fed EX overnight. It never arrived. Body shop owner was furious. I finally got my insurance to pay for damages. I paid $500 deductible and another $200 for rental car because I had a rental car for over 30 day limit with Allstate. Then the next day Kemper adjuster calls me and body shop and states they will not pay a penny to sue them for the money. The next week an adjuster calls me to harass me about returning their check payment. I finally hired an attorney. My current medical expenses are in excess of $75,000. Make sure that you hire an attorney when dealing with these scam artists who will lie in order not to pay any claim damages. I will see them in court when i am well enough to do so. I hope they insureds have enough coverage. They live in a $480, 000 home.

We switched insurance companies solely because of their billing departments service. First, they took our escrow for our homeowners policy and applied it to our auto policy, and in turn sent us a letter that we haven’t paid our home premium and were being canceled. When they fixed the mistake, we had to back pay 3 months of auto premium because they stopped the ETF withdrawal because the escrow money covered several months of auto premium. Which of course meant that we got a cancellation notice for the auto. It was a complete circus.
Then, over a month after we switched insurance companies, Kemper took $20 out of our bank account. Our agent called them to fix it and we were supposed to get a refund, which we have not another month later. Our agent recently followed up on the $20 for us, and Kemper said it had to be elevated to a supervisor.
Our premiums with our new carrier are essentially the same and we’ve never had a claim with Kemper so I can’t speak to their service there, we switched solely because of the incompetence of their billing department.
