Konen Insurance Inc. Customer Reviews:
I was so unhappy with my non-existent former agent (Country Financial).
Kathleen White was super quick and responsive with my request. I am extremely happy with my new agents.
Last summer I purchased a new home and asked my agent to provide an insurance quote. Oddly the quote that she provided was 56% higher than my current home, despite that I was downsizing to a smaller, lower priced home. She attributed the higher premium to the location and features of the new home. Later I discovered that she had set up the policy with a deductible lower than my current policy, resulting in an excessively high premium. Follow-up was necessary to get this corrected.
Then after completing the sale of my previous home, I notified my agent so that my auto policy would be updated to the new address. However when I contacted the agency several months later to add a vehicle, the documents still had my old address. I advised the agent that I no longer lived there and reiterated my new address.
Several more months later when the auto policy came up for renewal, I received notice of a premium increase in spite of a rate locking provision. I contacted my agent, but received no response. Two more weeks later, I received notice of an additional premium increase. It turns out the address on my auto policy had apparently not been updated until just days before, and the renewal invoice was sent to my former address. The early-payment discount had been canceled, and more follow-up was necessary to get this rectified.
Meanwhile, I was also missing an insurance card for one of the vehicles. I asked my agent to mail a printed card. Two weeks later, I still had not received it, and follow-up was again necessary before I finally received the printed card.
My agent blames the postal service for unreceived items, and offered no explanation regarding e-mails that I similarly did not receive. I eventually ended up taking my business elsewhere.
