We’ve worked with Mizrahi & Garris for years on our homeowners insurance and asked them this year for help to lower our car insurance. They did not disappoint! Liz is the absolute BEST to work with—she responded immediately and asked all the right questions. She provided competitive quotes and helped us save hundreds on our renewal. We have been using this insurance agency for nearly a decade. Their staff are responsive and friendly. They know how to translate the language of the insurance world into plain English for the rest of us, and they are very patient about answering questions. We like that we can call one place to shop multiple quotes, and they have been great about doing that for us annually on auto and home policies. Nice people and very professional.

I was referred to this office from Progressive because I had a very unique situation and needed to work with a local agent.

I’ve had the worst experience trying to communicate with this agency in a timely manner, in particular Bri. It took way too long to get responses and get accurate quotes. The phone is rarely answered and you will rarely get a call back. Lots of automated messages that they will call you in 24 hrs. I would schedule time that took away from my work day (during their open hours) just to be met with an answering machine, I would have gladly waited on hold.

I had to explain multiple times what I needed quotes for before I got accurate ones. I was ready to pay for a new car insurance policy and the communication took so long that it got down to a few days before I needed it and was almost going to have a lapse in coverage. I had to go with a different office last minute after spending so much time trying to work with them, so it was a complete waste of time.

After writing this review, Dennis Mizrahi contacted me but not in a professional way, in a very defensive way. He called my response “ridiculous” and said I “made no sense.” I would have gladly had a conversation with him when I became available, but after a few messages he was very unwilling to listen/understand and grew more defensive. All he wanted was for me to take this bad review down, he did not care about learning about the situation to improve his company.

Now that I’m seeing his response, my issue is not really with Bri but Dennis Mizrahi who could not be more unprofessional, sharing details about my location on a public review (that are also incorrect).

I’ve included a screenshot that represents his rude tone in his messages to me that also show he had no attempt of understanding of my situation. I was definitely looking to get Progressive insurance after talking to Progressive corporate (easy process with corporate) and they gave me this agency’s info to get it through. I do not work for Allstate but previously had insurance with them and they are fantastic at communicating (as well as every other agency I talked to during this process of finding new insurance, i.e. actually answering the phone during open hours) which is what he is responding to. I did go with Progressive with another office who could help me as soon as I called in under 30 mins.

They are tremendously dedicated professionals who completely understand the insurance industry. They can provide helpful advice and share knowledge about what to expect. They will help you find the right insurance and even help with claims. Personally, they have saved me thousands in costs. They are just the best at what they do, along with being great listeners, helpful and friendly!!

Been with Mizrahi & Garris for 15 years, and they have been absolutely amazing. When we’ve needed their help, they do everything possible to insure we always have coverage. Thank you for keeping us informed, and insured for all these years.
