I first became aware of Moe was because of the St. Cloud Children’s Home Charity Ride. I’ve ridden with them as kid’s charities are dear to my heart. I even got to do some work with Moe, organizing for the ride. It was time to shop car, motorcycle, and 5th wheel insurance and I’d rather do business with local friends. Great people that have a heart for community and are good folks. Im glad I made the change and look forward to the charity event this autumn.

Kept raising my insurance with only saying they don’t know why it’s gone up but everyone’s has? To the point of I couldn’t afford it anymore and was told there was nothing they could do, I could find a new insurance otherwise I would have to pay it before the 10 day grace was up. So I found a new insurance and found out when I tried to cancel that I couldn’t cancel until I payed over $300 for last and new bill. It was a long process that’s left me completely frustrated especially with how long I’ve been with them. There was only ONE nice person I talked with and apologized out of the 3.. one kept telling me I wasnt understanding over and over and would keep talking over me as i was trying to understand. Very happy with my new insurance.

Two Part Review-
Since collecting my initial payment this agency has ignored my phone calls and refused to respond to my voice-mails. I have attempted 6 times to contact them regarding switching a vehicle on my policy as I have traded up.

They contacted me the day after I posted this to take care of my issue. They were extremely apologetic and did deliver on the promise to follow up the next day with the additional information I requested regarding the changes to my policy. I’ll update again if the lack of communication in the end was a spoof and the service continues to be on point.

Allstate does not necessarily have you covered!!!
We had an incident with our RV requiring windshield replacement. Although we had paid for full glass coverage for several yrs we still fought for several weeks to get it replaced. Because of where we were located in Arizona we were unable to use Allstate’s preferred provider (Safelite). We were told by Allstate we could choose who we wanted for the replacement. So we did. Finally we received approval for the claim and we used a company in the town we were in. We returned to Minnesota approximately 4 months later. Within 2 days after a rain we found water on our dash. Inspecting closely we found the windshield had been improperly installed. It had to be replaced because removing it to properly install it would result in the glass breaking. Allstate would not cover it because it was a warranty issue. It was up to us to pursue replacement. The original installer was now nearly 1,700 miles away.
Allstate failed to tell us if you do select a company outside their preferred network Allstate would not back us if there were any problems with the windshield or the installation. That failure to communicate cost us $2,500. So while the vehicle sat unable to be used for more than 2 months waiting for their decision to deny the claim we continued to pay our full coverage premiums. Needless to say… we no longer use Allstate for any of our coverage.

So far so good. We’ve had a positive experience with the Allstate agency in Florida, so I called to get a quote from this local agency in MN for our summer home, auto, etc. Auto premium was equal to; home premium was significantly less than the renewal quote we received from our former insurer. My questions have been thoroughlly answered and the response time has been excellent.
