I had to select a star to leave a review, but I do not recommend South State to anyone who wants consistent homeowners insurance without cancellations. Our HOI was cancelled and they didn’t even notify us. 30 plus days, had to go to another agent who delivered, and with an even better policy! I do not recommend South State or Mortgage Options.

I understand you have no control over cancellations, but you have control over informing your customers. We never received mail. Remember you said they didn’t notify you either! What ever happen to the “no loss” statement you said you sent? All inboxes where checked and searched. Lack-luster, mediocre customer service.
