My partner and I went into this insurance agency on July 9, 2024 and purchased a policy for our car and our home. We left 2 separate checks to cover both insurance policies. On August 13 we received a call informing us that the company never received the payment for the home policy and that the insurance company was going to cancel the coverage on my home. I’m just wondering if this is MY problem? I now have to drive home from my vacation to deliver another check. Can maybe someone in a management position please reassure me that I am doing business with the right agency?

I personally had an excellent experience. But I recommend this agency to a friend, he called and left messages with 3 agents never heard back in2 weeks. I called and left a message with a manager and she called back the next morning. She said she would let me know by 11 am today ….no call yet. 1 week waiting

It’s so infuriating to get a message on a return call back from an agent at Woods insurance. I have been at it for 2 weeks to get answers to why my premium on my home owners has gone up by $400 dollars.
Ok are you sitting down? Listen to this Major League B.S. quote. All rates have gone up . Ok can you re/shop my insurance? I waited to hear from them they never called me back. An employee called me back and left a message. Another girl (might be working on it).
Were so busy right now.
I understand that Woods was bought out, so much for dealing with a local company.
I will shop my own insurance for next year!!!! I wouldn’t want to put a extra burden on them.

My experience thus far with Thomas has been phenomenal. Look, there are some people that don’t understand insurance jargon and there are those who do. Thomas has taken the time to break information down into much more swalloable chunks, which is invaluable to someone inexperienced as myself.

It is impossible to reach an agent to talk about an existing policy. The receptionist is also extremely impatient and rude. There are nicer agencies out there who can help with a better rate. I switched my agency to another one and now only paying half of what I used to pay for my insurance.
