I’m prompted to post after another case of predictably customer-focused, effective support from this (Tracy Hollander’s) State Farm agency based in the Castro and Noe Valley neighborhoods. I’ve had two occasions to work with the office this year – the first time with Vincent and now a few months later with Rocio Jimenez. Both times, these customer service pros have not only addressed my reason for calling but found ways to solve problems or tweak my coverages in ways that were better for me (without any hint of the typical insurance agent push to buy for amorphous “security” because it’s good for you but, instead, genuine empathy for a customer’s desire to limit nonessential cost). Plus, they’re just very friendly people who work efficiently out of respect for the time and preferences of others. Great agency!

I switched from a different State Farm agent to Traci Hollander a few years ago because I could not understand my previous agent’s explanations. Insurance is both important and hard to understand, so it’s critical to have agents who can clearly explain what the policies mean. Traci’s office has delivered what I was looking for. Most recently I needed a lot of help understanding my nonowned auto insurance policy, and sent a list of questions to Rocio Jimenez in Traci’s office. She checked with underwriting on a few points and then got back to me with very clear, detailed answers to each of my questions — and did that within a week, a timing which I greatly appreciated because the conclusion that I was fully covered for a car rental on an upcoming trip allowed me to save $300 insurance charges from the rental company. Rocio and the entire team that I have dealt with at Traci’s office have the ability to clarify the most opaque insurance language, and for this I highly recommend them.
